About Marie

A little taster of who I am and how I got to be where I am today.

Fully qualified, and accredited with Premier International Ltd, Diploma in Massage, and a Skincare Ambassador with Tropic Skincare.

Born in South Wales, I’m now settled in Stone, Staffordshire. After serving 22 years in the Army as a chef, I catered for junior and senior soldiers, officers and even royalty including HRH the late Queen, HRH The, then, Prince of Wales, HRH Princess Michael of Kent and HRH the late Queen Mother.

I travelled the world during my term and saw action in Northern Ireland and Bosnia. I also served in Germany, America, Poland, Canada, Hong Kong and Brunei. To be honest, these last two were more for leisure than anything else, but I was representing the Army in badminton.

Today, my main hobbies include pottering around in the garden and keeping fit on an almost daily basis and by challenging myself with extreme walks and running. In July 2016 I joined the Stone Master Marathoners with a goal to building on the two half marathons – Potters Half and Stafford Half – I already have under my belt!

As a member of the professional business organisation NetworkIN Ladies in Stone, and NetworkIN Stoke Tuesday, I work in collaboration with other business owners to promote local businesses through quality referrals. Only reputable, reliable and trustworthy companies are allowed to join and remain within the organisations. It is a reflection of my commitment to customer satisfaction that most of my new and long-standing business customers have been generated in this way through word of mouth and referral.
